A suicide attack was carried in a Quds rally in Quetta at Mizan Chowk, where more than 73 people embraced martyrdom and more than 100 people sustained injuries. Quetta people are martyrs in the path of liberation of Quds.
Youm-ul-Quds rally held under the aegis of Imamia Students Organization Quetta Division, comprising of hundreds people was taken out at Meezan Chowk, Quetta, when an explosion went off right in the middle of the rally.
"At least 73 dead bodies have been moved to different hospitals. More than 100 people have been injured," said Akbar Magsi, a senior police office in Quetta.
The deceased and injured are being taken to Civil Hospital. Dr Shabeer, the RMO of the Civil Hospital, also confirmed that 73 people were martyred and almost 50 others injured.
Two intelligence officials in Quetta confirmed the death toll.
Several injured have also been taken to the Combined Military Hospital. The hospital management has requested to donate blood. Hospital sources informed us that 50 injured in are critical conditions.
The law enforcement agencies including the Frontier Constabulary cordoned off the area.
Local television channel AaJ reported that one of its drivers had been killed in the blast, while other stations reported that a reporter and three cameramen were wounded in the incident.

True face of these terrorist confirms they have no sympathy for Islam, Quds or Ramazan and they are not Muslim, all these incidents confirms they are anti-Islam and stepping to de-stabilised our beloved country.
Rallies are held across Pakistan every year on the last Friday of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan to support Palestinian demands for a separate homeland.
